Our Mission
Risha Solutions seeks to develop the expertise and skills of civil society and private sector actors in Central and South Asia on strategic and technical management. To ensure development interventions are driven by context and are in line with international frameworks and agreements, we strive at linking international and local expertise and building a bridge of understanding and communication through our organisation and its network.
Strengthening the civil society and private sector in applying their skills and expertise will empower these actors to actively contribute to the development dialogue and, essentially, to reshape development in greater Central and South Asia from within. As an additional social component, we aim to go beyond assignments and facilitate expertise sharing among civil society and private sector actors by making knowledge and tools widely available to all.

Risha Solutions distinguishes itself from other development consultancies by making knowledge widely available to local organizations and building an environment for sharing and exchanging expertise - only together we can build a better future based on the principles of equality, equity, and sustainability for the generation to come.
Risha Solutions was founded in 2020 as a direct response to the COVID-19 pandemic and the ongoing dialogues on equality and inclusion around the world. The founders have a combined 20 years of experience working with donor agencies, international and non-governmental organizations, as well as the private sector in Central and South Asia, Africa, Europe, the Americas, and the Caribbean.
Based on our years of working in the region, specifically in Afghanistan and Tajikistan, as well as our experience in development, we understand that the agenda is too often driven by international organizations lacking local context and with a minimal focus on investing in building the capacity of local people and organizations. We want to be able to give back to the communities that have influenced our careers while taking on projects with the longest-term impact and with the ability to trigger change. We are driven by the belief that lasting change comes only from within the country and its people. Seeing the potential of individuals and organizations in the region motivates us to support them in building their skills and knowledge to be the change they want to see in their countries.
